From the research i have done, Thriller movies are targeted to a wide range of audiences mainly from the age of 12 and over, these thriller films may not be as disturbing so that younger audiences can enjoy it. For example 'The dark knight' and 'The woman in black'
However some thriller films are targeted to older audiences because it could be too disturbing and may have too many violence, so a younger audience may not appreciated the movie.
